Kanjini Co-Op is governed by a board of directors which meets
usually once a month. These are very formal meetings where usually
a lot of business is dealt with. In the interest of openess all
members have a right to attend board meetings. Long-term active
supporters may also be allowed to witness these meetings.
At least once a year we will need to hold an annual general
meeting, where the directors will be elected and annual reports
will be tabled. Additionally 10% of members can call for a general
meeting to review and overrule any decisions made by the board/
Usually once a month we will have a "Hearts and Minds" meeting, which is an informal meeting open to anyone to come along to. This is typically a day of exploring the land, brainstorming ideas, advancing our planning, answering questions and whatever else comes up and wants to happen. You can attend these meetings either in person or by skype. We welcome new people to come to these meetings and they are often a lot of fun.
